BANDED GRACIOUS WOMEN REBORN INC. is an outreach ministry that encourages women who have been bruised, abandoned, broken, and have very low self-esteem. As a result of this abuse they have become afraid of their own destiny (Dreams & Purpose). This is the point where we have been allowed to come into their lives and witness to them, telling them that GODS GRACE is sufficient (2 Corinthians 12:9), and they can rise straight to the top, never sinking no more, being reborn from their past life that held them down for so many years. We help women and young ladies see the beautiful butterflies they are through the eye-sight
of God; Flying forward without returning or looking back...
The word “empowerment” is very important. It is the core belief system of Banded Gracious Women Reborn, Inc. There is a good reason for this. Abusers takes power and control from their victim through the use of physical force, threats and coercion. Empowerment restores power and control over life and affords women the opportunity to see themselves as a strong survivor who can participate actively in securing safety and stability for herself and her children.
Any woman or young girl that has been victimized by abuse and low self-esteem deserves to tell her story to a non-judgmental, empathetic person. It is critically important to let her know that she is believed and that the violence is not her fault. BGWR, Inc. may be their first—and perhaps last—opportunity to be fully heard and helped. By opening our hearts, offering resources and services to these ladies, we are able to help others to see that there is a rainbow on the other side of the storm.
